Made with homemade calendula-infused oil and sea buckthorn oil, this gentle facial soap will give you the glow!
Calendula-infused oil is extracted from the maceration of dried marigold flower and known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties, relieving the skin from itchiness and dryness. Sea buckthorn oil is a deep orange-red coloured oil extracted form the berry of the sea buckthorn shrub. Sea buckthorn oil has a complex network of antioxidant and fatty acids that repair cellular damage caused by free radicals. The result of this is improved skin structure, appearance and tone. This combination of oils is a match made in heaven and creates the perfect boost to revive your skin from the stresses of your busy day.
As we formulated it specially for the face, there is no colorant added and only a low level of sweet orange essential oil on this bar of soap. It will be the perfect sustainable swap and eco-friendly replacement for your daily face wash.
Skincare tip: soaps are usually quite alkaline compared to our skin. So after using the soap to clear traces of make-up and oil, remember to use a toner to re-balance the pH of your skin before applying your day or night skincare routine.
Product information and packaging
Our soaps are vegan, cruelty-free and made of natural origin ingredients and essential oils for fragrance. We use the traditional method of cold process to craft our soaps. Every batch is handmade and packaged with care. Our oils and butters are sourced from organic grade or certified responsibly sourced.
We use plastic-free packing where we can and try to keep it to a minimum. Individual soaps are sent in recyclable paper bag with recycled-plastic bubble wrap liner. Two or more item orders are shipped in a cardboard box (and even the tape is made of paper) so it is fully recyclable!
Weight
As with any handmade product, each bar will vary slightly in weight and appearance with a weight of around 75g.
Keeping your soap happy
To ensure the longevity of your soap, we recommend letting it dry out on a soap dish vertically between use.
